Attention ALL non-Iranians who have caught the Persian Bug:
Are you of “other than Iranian” nationality? Have you gone to Iran, spent time with Iranians, or know and love the people? Perhaps you speak Farsi? Then tell us all about your experience.
Welcome to Caroline's Corner. This is the blog space for non-Iranians who have come to know and love Iran and the people. Here is where we want to hear YOUR story. What took you there? What were your ideas about Iran at the outset? What are some of your memorable experiences? How do you feel about Iran now? Would you go back for a visit?
In the past twenty-five years since the Revolution, westerners inside of Iran have been somewhat of a rarity. We think that what we get from the media tells the whole story about Iran....and so those of us who have "dared" to travel there, have gone there cautiously, reluctantly, dreadingly! (kicking and screaming)
What we didn't foresee was that our experience would change us in so many ways. How has it changed you?
ps. We're not here to talk politics. We're not here to debate the obvious. Let's just focus on the people.
Now click on "DISCUSSIONS" to your right, and post your story!!
