Hey All,
Wanted to say thanks to our very own Sandra T who was so instrumental in finding a successful placement for my last bailed CARE cat who turned out to be a luv bug. He went to a wonderful new home with new mom Linda T with room to roam, barns and horses. Thanks Sandra and Linda for saving his life!!
I also want to say thanks for all the many other people who have stepped up to give these bailouts a second or third chance. It's impossible for me to name everyone but you know who you are. You're all angels.
Now....I have another kitty who has been at Animal Services since July 25. Here's a photo...hope it comes through okay:
I have just been notified that she was down there and, apparently, she was turned into the outside pavilion. (cowards). Anyway, she is labeled as "fearful" which, most likely, means she's sceeeeeeert and just needs some time to relax, attention, and good food. We have a volunter going to visit with her tomorrow to see if she is, in fact, an ear-notched CARE cat and to assess her temperament. I'm posting this now because she has been down there soooo long and way past her time for euthanasia. I wonder if she is being given a break because she has potential? I'm looking for a place where she can be safe. Please let me know if you might be able to offer this to her. Email me at car...@carefelinerescue.org or caroli...@yahoo.com. I do believe time is of the essence for this one.
Thanks everyone!
Carol Needham
