HEY EVERYBODY!   ONE: Wanted to let you all know that the Central Florida Veg Fest is coming up on Saturday, October 24, 2009, 10 am to 6 p.m, at Lochhaven Park, 900 E. Princeton Street, Orlando, Florida 32803.  CARE FELINE TNR has been invited to attend!  CARE's booth will be located in the "animal haven" portion of the festival.  WE NEED PEOPLE TO HELP MAN OUR BOOTH and explain the advantages and process of our TNR ("trap-neuter'return") program, hand out cards and collect names and addresses of potential volunteers, or simply hang out with us.  Whether its for an hour, two hours, three....or the whole day!    PLEASE CONTACT Melissa Cranis at mcr...@iag.net or call (407) 293-6576 to let her know if you can help and she'll schedule you for the time of your choice!   You won't be alone...at Earthday Fest this past May there were always at least four volunteers working the booth at the same time.    We're very excited to participate and CARE NOW HAS T-SHIRTS!!  For a reasonable donation, you can have an artistically crafted t-shirt, or polo, for yourself or your loved ones.  There are plenty of really kewl colors and sizes available.    Here's the link to the Festival's website:  http://www.cfvegfest.org/.  Check it out and if you can't help us but plan to attend the Festival, please come by and say "Hello" and check out our shirts!  We'd love to see you!   ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~   TWO: Our very own very active volunteer, Susan Buser has been invited to appear on the Linnda Durre Show, on Friday, October 7, 2009 between Noon and 1 p.m.  Susan is a pretty smart cookie, extremely knowledgeable and very well spoken.  We ask that as many people listen and call in.  The topics include animal overpopulation, rescue, trap-neuter-return, animal abuse, and more.  We want to show there is a great public interest in these topics so that we can continue using these forums to serve as the voice for the animals.  Believe or not, there are many people who are simply oblivious to what is happening to animals out there.    The call in number is (407) 774-1085. Please show your interest and support for the animals by calling in!!    Thanks Everyone, that's all for now!
