Subject: Navy General Library Program Summer 2010 Internships around the World!
The United States Navy General Library Program will have 12 summer
internship openings for the summer of 2010.

A division of the Navy's Fleet and Family Readiness program, the Navy
General Library Program provides similar services and facilities to
personnel on Navy Bases as Public Libraries provide in cities and
towns.

Locations for these internships may include:
Naples, Italy
Sigonella, Italy
Rota, Spain
Guantanamo Bay, Cuba
Atsugi, Japan
Yokosuka, Japan
Great Lakes, IL
Little Creek, VA
Pensacola, FL
Ft. Worth, TX

Is this for the general MWR internship program? I've met the interns
here at Great Lakes as they come and go and none work at the library.
Is there a separate program for the library vs. MWR administration or
recreation?

Good question.  Let's see if the Navy MWR can provide an answer.  It
certainly looks like it's a brand new initiative to bring in a lot of
new people.
