  I am using Carbon Emacs 22.3 on Mac so that I can print using the Mac print &lt;br&gt; dialog. I would also like to have Emacs load a particular file on startup. &lt;br&gt; Another source tells me this can be done by setting the &lt;br&gt; initial-buffer-choice variable. I can do this in Gnu Emacs 23.1.50.1, which &lt;br&gt; I have running on an Ubuntu server, but this variable doesn&#39;t seem to exist

  Seiji got his PC stolen while checking emails at an open cafe in &lt;br&gt; Maryland. This would suck if it happened to any of us. While I hope &lt;br&gt; that the dirtbag who stole the PC gets caught and the goods returned &lt;br&gt; safely, I wouldn&#39;t mind kicking off a collection drive/pledge to get &lt;br&gt; him a new one (if it is his personal PC).

  I believe the Carbon API has gone away in Lion so Carbon Emacs is a non-starter. Try one of the NextStep (Cocoa) versions. &lt;br&gt; - George

  I am receviing repeated crashes on startup. It shows emacs window, but &lt;br&gt; crashes if I click the mouse anywhwere inside.
