I've been in touch with the project's leader, Erik Andrus, who intends to dock in Albany or Troy on his way to NYC - sometime in September.  I think we should champion his stay which might include a Farmer's Market and throw him a REALLY BIG RECEPTION.

Actually, Sandy, I think Troy is the more logical port of call; it’s more rural.

Hi Howard,

I know Erik does not care which side of the river he docks.  The important thing is cheap (free) and spacious docking plus good attendance by us, the public.

I'm just working the Albany side b/c I live here.  If you or JIm wanted to investigate the possibilities in Troy or Green Island that would be great.
