Our regular meeting would be April 28 @ 6:30.
I've been asked to give a talk on using MagicPoint (the open source
slide application that the OpenBSD developers use). But that
shouldn't really take more than about 15 minutes.

Does anyone else have a talk they'd be interested in giving (or one
they'd like someone else to give)?

DHO: Are you available to host?

Unfortunately it seems that OmniTI will not be able to host this
month's meeting.
I'm going to get back onto looking for a different meeting location.
I believe that Howard County Libraries will allow us to host our
meetings for free as long as we don't use any of their equipment.
Does anyone have a portable projector that we can use for our
meetings? If not, once I nail down a location, I'll just buy one.

So has the April meeting been cancelled in the hopes of finding a new venue by the May meeting?

I have a pretty decent size house in the district we could use if desired. Would need to keep the count >12, but its a possibility. Free wifi! :)

Sometimes our meetings have less than 12 people. I'm not sure why
that would be a problem. Or is ">" a tyop? ;-)

I think having occasional meetings in DC is a good idea. Given that I
work in Baltimore, I don't see having every meeting in DC, but every
once in a while would be fine.

Thanks, oneguy.

It's unlikely that I'd drive into DC (from Westminster, MD) for CapBUG
meetings. But that shouldn't stop you if it makes sense for the group.
