hello all, I have just bought three hulls.
One is a double with vynil covering, it seems to be ready to paddle.
I have a single which belonged to a scout group, it has some damaged
timbers and needs recovering.
I also have a bare wood frame looks like it maybe never has been
covered, it is painted rather than varnished.
The frame is looking for a good home.
I havent decided what to do with the single, anyone like to take it
away?
I am based in walton on thames.
I am also tryiing to find out what and where to buy canvas to replace
the deck on my double.
thanks all.
Alex

Update, I have now paddled the double with gaffer tape covering two
below the waterline holes for about a mile up and down the Thames.
I have wood cut to size to repair the two damaged frames. Work begings
this week.
I have a role of canvas I bought on Ebay, stainless steel staples and
some sharp scissors.
I believed the frames were Percy Blandford but on closer inspection
find that two are profile cut 3/8" plywood the third uses laminated
plywood hoops to form the frame spacers.
these look much neater and appear to resst damage better.

Thats sounds like a PBK 22....15 foot 32" beam in old money 3/8" was
in Percy's book ..in the first canoe i built in the 50s i used 1/2"
ply a bit heavier but it gave the the screw fixing a better
chance....Mike
