Hi All

There are programmes that we can join as a user group which provide
significant discounts on books, see the following ...

O'Reilly ... http://ug.oreilly.com/ 35% on print books
Apress ... http://www.apress.com/community/usergroup 50% on ebooks
Manning ... http://www.manning.com/ugprogram/
Packt ... http://www.packtpub.com/user_groups
Friends of Ed ... http://www.friendsofed.com/usergroup.html 50% on
ebooks

Some programmes provide other goodies as well, like review copies of
books, competition/raffel prizes etc...

Most require the group organiser/s to sign-up (Is that you Brent? Or
do you want to nominate me as an organiser?).

Cheers

Cameron

Hi everyone, my group is beginning an investigation into single sign on solutions. So far the only candidate people had in is Atlassian Crowd, mostly because we're familiar with the other Atlassian products (Jira and Confluence). What do you use? Experiences - good and bad?
Thanx
Gaby

Hi Cameron

You are most welcome to sign up, I have organised signup for Apress
and Manning from memory in the past (see previous posts), these allow
free books but require a review.

Regards Brent
