Does anyone have a MATLAB demo for a SOFC application. I am new to
Canter and am having difficulty translating the python-SOFC demo into
MATLAB language.

Thanks,

Hi Kim,

I've translated the python demo, attached here.  I write the output to microsoft excel, rather than csv, but I imagine you can easily do other formats with a little retooling.

Also, there are a number of functions needed for this routine that do not currently exist in the Matlab toolbox (at least they didn't when I last installed/updated), which also attach here.  You will need to add them to various folders in the Matlab toolbox:

-electricPotential.m and setElectricPotential.m go inside the @ThermoPhase folder
-Faraday.m and the @Edge folder go in the outer-most folder of the toolbox [i.e.
    Cantera\MATLAB\toolbox\cantera\]

Also, make sure you copy/paste the sofc.cti file from the demo folder where is currently located to the Program Files\Common Files\Cantera\data folder.

Best of luck,
Steven

Hi,

I have finally gotten Cantera to run reliably (solved ct2ctml errors
for the built in demos), but I still get a ct2ctml error while running
the cantera_sofc_demo which you provided for me. Are there any
changes that need to be made in the sofc.cti file so that it can be
converted from Matlab? It seems to be the only file in my Program
Files\Common Files\Cantera\data folder that I cannot call using the
gas=Importphase('...') command.

Thanks
