The Humane Editor?

Has anybody else besides me noticed that we STILL have no general availability to a Humane Editor? Jef thought it important enough to write a book about it. If somebody could start building Cats again, great. Until then, oughtn't we to be working on a Humane Editor?

Has anybody (who knows him better) talked to Aza about freeing up the Python Humane Editor? The current license prohibits commercial use. The implementation is not perfect, no, but it's a start.
