bugs on techmeme.com?

I applied "open offsite links from this site in new tabs by default"
on techmeme.com but all or any off-site links still open on the same
tab/window. I applied the same rule to reddit and digg and they both
worked as intended; offsite links open in new tab and onsite links
open in the same tab. Can you check why and how the rule doesn't play
nice with techmeme? Thank you.

Ah, I see the problem. For some reason, Techmeme puts a "target=_self"
attribute on their offsite links. I designed LinkThing to ignore links
that target _self, because normally "target=_self" is used in a frame to
make a link open in the same frame. Or so I thought.

I will try to fix this.
