Hi, I'm Aaron Swartz, a writer, programmer, and student at Stanford. I
think it's humorous to note that of the three people here who have
introduced themselves, I know two (Ka-Ping and Sunah). This is further
evidence for my theory that Candor Club appeals to sort of geeky,
thoughtful people who are willing to go outside social norms. (see,
e.g.

I've already given out a few candor club buttons to friends at Stanford
and I had the thought that it might be a good way of meeting
interesting people. Flyers seem to be the medium of choice here, so I
was trying to think of catchy fliers I could put up around campus. I
was thinking they might say something offensive and eye-catching in big
type, followed by "Speak with candor. Join the candor club." and some
sort of explanation.
