UPDATE: Chicago Cop Shoots His 2 Kids; Kills Himself, Daughter

CHICAGO (WBBM/AP) -- An 8-year-old girl was shot and killed, her
12-year-old brother was critically injured and their father, a Chicago
Police officer, suffered a self-inflicted gunshot wound during barricade
situation on the Southwest Side Monday.

Chicago Police said the shootings stemmed from a domestic dispute between
the officer and his wife, but they would not elaborate. They would not
release the name of the officer, saying only that he was 31 years old and
had been with the department about four years.

Department spokeswoman Monique Bond said police responded to a ``shots
fired'' call at the officer's home in the Brighton Park neighborhood on the
city's southwest side at about 10:45 a.m.

When officers arrived, a woman outside told them that there were children in
the one-story brick house and that she'd heard shots.

``You could hear moans from within the residence,'' said First Deputy
Superintendent James Jackson.

SWAT officers rushed in the house, finding the dead officer and the two
children, who police say were an 8-year-old girl and a 12-year-old boy, in
separate areas of the home. Bond said it appeared that all had been shot
with the same handgun. The Cook County Medical Examiner's office said the
girl, which they said was 7 years old, was pronounced dead at 11:52 a.m.

The children were taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where the boy remained in
critical condition Monday afternoon.

Police said the officer who took his own life lived at the house, but they
did not know if the two children lived there, as well. Officials with the
city's Independent Police Review Authority, which investigates all police
shootings, also were on scene.

Jonathan Arenas, 26, who lives two blocks away, said he was walking by the
residence when he saw SWAT officers rush into the building. He said he also
saw blood on the two children as paramedics brought them out on stretchers.

``All the cops were running back and forth,'' Arenas said. ``That's when
they took the two children.''

Facts not consistent, Names withheld, etc. Should have more correct info on the evening
news tonight at 10 or 11. One source said ages 7 & 9, not 8 & 12.

Sounds from one source like the cops threw in a smoke bomb or something before charging
the place....probably to disorient anyone still alive with ill intentions.

Some divorces can get messy! Seems this one did! Don't know the who, what, why, when or
where of this one, but expect someone may be left with a guilt trip...Or perhaps this was
the intent of the deceased.

Since you bring that up. A woman was just sentenced for the murder of her newborn baby.
The article follows but does not mention how she killed it. Talk radio says she stabbed
the baby in the neck with an icepick -- less than two hours old!

The article follows now:

THE ASSOCIATED PRESS

Published: September 12, 2008

CHARLOTTE
A 22-year-old Charlotte woman has been sentenced to more than seven years in prison in the
death of her newborn baby girl last year.
The Charlotte Observer reported that Esther Flores was sentenced yesterday to at least
seven years, 10 months in prison after pleading guilty to second-degree murder.
Mecklenburg Assistant District Attorney Clayton Jones says the baby died from a puncture
wound to the neck. Jones says the baby died within an hour of being born in May 2007.
Authorities say paramedics had taken Flores to the hospital after being called to help a
woman who was bleeding. Officials say neither the caller nor the woman said anything about
a birth.
Paramedics and police who returned to the home found the baby in two white plastic grocery
bags in a bathroom.

That's your, er, dead Strawman. You feed it.

Nut cases are out there. There's one woman who was just convicted of
cooking her two-month old in the microwave, after she and her boyfriend
had a big fight over who was the baby's father.

I guess she figured it was an easy way to dry out the diaper.

Not really, Jonez simply has the issue with the nuclear bombing of Japan in
WWII and wants to claim it was a war crime, and anyone that support(s) it is
a war criminal.

by the cover ups lurking all over from bell/south net. BATFE.

For the Japs, it was die of starvation, since negotiations did not
work, just like in Iraq, so they attacked in retaliation.

If you have a ready to go, and a strange home invader backs you into
a corner because you don't want to kill before reasoning, intimidating, and
do a lot of redundant costly court time,....... there is breaking point, and
you just cut loose like a full auto Glock 18 ....

To kill you, during a justifiable homicide, when the likes of you

That's not murder.

Hunting, sports, self defense (which is not murder). The actual amendment

The 2nd Amendment specifically protects the people's individual right
to keep and bear arms, a right assumed to pre-exist the Constitution.

There is no right to murder, so the 2nd obviously doesn't protect what
doesn't exist.

Justifiable homicide is not murder. The most common reason for

Homicide is not necessarily murder, manslaughter, or a criminal
offense; these are legal definitions, just like justifiable (non-
criminal) homicide is a legal definition.

There is a right to self defense. If an incident of self-defense
results in homicide, and it is judged justifiable by the legal system,
then there is no murder.

No delusions.
That's the fact of law... something you know nothing about, poofter.
You step into my home, I have the right to place projectiles into your

(I wouldn't even need a gun! I'd just push them in manualy with my fingers)

No jury would EVER convict me... as I would not be charged with a crime

Rights do not have to be enumerated to exist. The powers granted to
the federal government are enumerated in the Constitution in order to
restrict it from needlessly infringing on the rights of the people.

Then step foot back into the USA, and commit a crime where I live.
I gave you my address a dozen times so far.

Do so, and I _will_ kill you.

I will not be charged with a crime.

NOW does your little POOFTER BRAIN know the diff between Murder and
Justifiable Homicide?

Hmmm... obviously not.

But YOU are the one that keeps bring that up, while dodging the subject.

I agree with that quote, poofter.

YOU, however still can't figure out that there is a difference between
Murder, and homicide.

Why do you keep wanting to be seen as the poofter you truly are?

I want a firearm(a pistola as you call it) to kill you, when you commit
a crime in my home, or attempt to harm my family.

I(and my wife) have firearms, (a pistola as you call it),to KILL YOU,
when you make the attempt.

Again, there is NOTHING you can do about it!

If you try, you will be shot dead.
WE will not even be charged with a crime.

Your cranial parts will be cleaned off the walls, and you will be
forgotten... or remembered as the idiot you are when the police see all
the child porno you have on your lap top.

I will be reimbursed for clean up costs and ammo.

A big problem here is a woman can throw a newborn in the dumpster or
kill it and they send her to prison for murder but a filthy sub human
doctor can take a perfectly healthy baby that is born except for his
head, punch a hole in it's head and suck the brains out of it and he is
free to do it again and again. At least the dumpster baby has a chance.

What would you suggest as a way to stop this sort of thing?

What would a whining limey serf know about US law? This limey faggot
is so stupid that he doesn't even realise that he's a subject and not
a citizen -- that he's a serf rather than a free man.

Nope, there is a double standard with LEO homicides.....they are
above the law, as U might have noticed in their botched home invasion
attempts.

But then they give out traffic tickets to chugs/coconuts and I stay
alive another year.....

Yep, but expect a lot of redundant "legal" proceedings and a good 10
years of being tailed......don't spit on the sidewalk, they'll be there
watching you for 10+ years with the Taxpayers fundings.

They take care of their own.....they provide some service, which is
then pumped through all the media to show they are good too.....nothing
more.

Of all the dashboard/etc. vidcams they have, why is it only 1% or so
is a good one to promote the LEOs....what is in the other 99%......

Their secret, our money...

That's what they (anti-gun-lobbyists) mean by guns kill people all
over, if it weren't for guns, there would not be any homicides and taxpaying
suicides.

The registry is opposed by a lot of Police and RCMPs, they say so
outright.......they all say we oppose the Registry, but could they really be
saying we oppose the Registry and "think" all guns should be confiscated
because under the Criminal Code 91+, guns are technically banned in Canada.

Oh you can read www.rkba.ca and say the opposite, but what we are
concerned with is a reality of paper charters and rights compared to the
justice of a bullet.

Of course!

But there is no right to commit murder.

Why do you continue to not know the diff?

Again, if YOU were to show up on my property, or in my home, I(or my
wife) will kill you.

No crime would have been committed on our part, therefore, JUSTIFABLE
HOMICIDE! :)

Killing your ilk and kind, is not considered Murder.

IF you had the balls to show up where I live, I will kill you.
And it will NEVER be concidered or seen as a murder.

PLEASE test my theory, and prove me wrong!

Of course there is. I'm surprised that isn't clear. In Texas, a "right"
homocide is successfully resolved in court using the "he needed killing"
defense.
