They're running ads on radio, funded by the BANK that handles the
lottery cash flow (another BIG surprise) and it's CLEARLY a conflict
of interest.
He's the head of the biggest regressive tax rape known to man,
lotteries! Of COURSE he doesn't want a casino in Toronto. But how
much longer can Toronto keep being the mousy little provincial town
that it is, all the while pretending to be some cosmopolitan "player"
on the world stage? Grow the F--- up, Toronto.

"Growing up" does not mean introducing gambling to major cities and with
it the criminal element.

In your case, 'growing up' is likely not even a prospect to be entertained.

Do you gamble? Or are you just another dimwit who plays the slot
machines like those old Chinese ladies who go to Casino Rama on the
Bus?

My guess is that you don't have a clue. You have never been to
Vegas, perhaps Atlantic City and maybe Rama!

Big time capitalist here! Make way for the Newmarket Fuck Head.

I live in a province that allowed casinos into its major cities - and
now all taxpayers are paying for the crimes that came with them:
- money laundering
- prostitution
- addiction
- murders

You want to gamble? Go to Vega or Atlantic City or a native reserve
across the border. Ya stupid person.

You don't live in Toronto, you are a pick-up driving, drooling winger
who knows fuck all.

You only like Rob Ford because he's ostensibly a rightist, when in
reality, he's a fucking stuttering moron who has trouble conjugating
verbs in English.

If you really liked Ford, why haven't you moved to Toronto?

Oh! I get it. Too many Dagos, too many Joos, too many Chinks, too
many niggers.

As if Newmarket is the white promised land!

Given that it was the NDP that brought Casinos to Ontario, you should
be proud, Karen!

Nope. And you well know it, Airwick.
Just a little reminder for those who don't think you're always lying
through your yellow teeth:

CBC - Thursday, August 29, 2002

Former B.C. premier Glen Clark has been acquitted in a casino licensing
scandal that forced him from office three years ago.

"Today is a day for me and my family to celebrate, and to be free of
this anvil that's been sort of carrying me down," a smiling Clark told
reporters outside the courthouse Thursday, after being found not guilty
of breach of trust and accepting a benefit of more than $10,000 from a
friend.

He was accused of receiving free home and cottage renovations from a
neighbour, Dimitrios Pilarinos, who had applied for a casino licence
from the province. The Crown alleged that this undermined the integrity
of the premier's office.

The NDP made no mistakes. The rightwing BC 'Liberals' made it into a
major scandal that the NDP couldn't get beyond. Usual conservative
tactic for ensuring an election upset.

And usual lies from Eric Schild.

Either Karen is now completely delusional or more desperate for attention than ever
before. No one but her mentioned anything about the 'Casinogate' affair.

Karen first says "'Growing up' does not mean introducing gambling to major cities
and with it the criminal element."

Then she says "The NDP made no mistakes" when they introduced gambling to major
cities and along with it the criminal element.

Typical Gordonism... if the NDP do it it's okay - if someone else does it, it isn't
okay.

But then YOU are lying about the NDP bringing casinos into B.C.,
Airwick. You know damned well it was the Gordon Campbell BC 'Liberals'
who did.

And, by the way, you can't read my postings - remember?

"Plonk" means you really need to stop reading them. Or make yourself
out a liar - again.

Liars have to stick together, Bruyea. Schild lies a whole lot about a
myriad of issues. And now YOU are a liar in kinship with him.

The NDP did NOT bring casinos into British Columbia. The BC 'Liberals' did.

And as far as Bob Rae allowing them into Ontario - well, he was never a
true New Democrat, was he? Remind us all of which party he's with.

The Globe and Mail - Sunday, Mar. 03 2013

The B.C. Liberal opposition expressed horror about the planned expansion
that would see new Vegas-style casinos and the installation of thousands
of electronic gambling machines.

But it is the Liberal government that has taken the gambling industry to
near-saturation levels. Expansion may soon taper off, only because there
is little room in the market for more.

This year, the BCLC will harvest an estimated $2.7-billion from British
Columbians who hope to beat the odds and hit the jackpot. That means a
record $1.12-billion in gambling profits set to flow to the B.C.
government this year, roughly a 5-per-cent increase over last year.

Like the NDP, the Liberal government has faced opposition throughout its
12 years of gambling expansion – from the public, from local
governments and sometimes from its own benches.
