Looks like the Leftwing political parties are taking a major beating in both
the United Kingdom and in the European Parliament.

This is good news!

The British Labour Party is in the process of total destruction as a result
of total failure of their policies.

In Europe, Socialist parties are losing in just about every country.

This does not bode well for North Americal Socialist parties like the
Liberals, the NDP and the American Democrats.

Workers in Europe are abandoning leftwing parties -- about time they saw the
light.

Oh sure they still have a diminishing right wing whacko fringe element
to which you gravitate, but who cares.

==========

Hardly, when you learn that the various Independence parties gained. Fact
is socialism has not been the panacea promised by the socialists and the
people are returning to a system that works.

Just wait till they start losing benefits, watch their economy take a
*real* downturn and see what NeoCons are all about. We saw how bad it
got under the NeoCons in the US and we see how bad it's getting here
under Harper. Just wait till those idiots see what they're going to lose.

Not really the issue of benefits but rather the absolute intrusion into
peoples lives through extensive micro-management that is causing the
problem; a mark of socialism gone mad.

Not for the stock markets, apparently. All European markets were down
1.5 to 2% at 12:30 PM GMT.

How do you pretend that capitalism did not get bailed out by socialism?
Does the light of reality every get through a crack?

and, as we've seen.... capitalism doesn't exist without socialism... finding
a balance is a bitch for both sides...
