The next three meetings are:
* Tue 4th November, Lightning Talks, 7.30 - 9.30
Room 013, Anglia Ruskin Library
* Tue 2nd December, Pub Meeting, 8pm at the Carlton Arms
* Tue 6th January, Talks or some other event -- see below
---------------------------------------------------------------------
The next meeting will again be at the Anglia Ruskin University
Library, in the same room as our last Talks meeting. This time
we want to do a series of Lightning Talks, rather than a few
longer presentations.
We're asking for volunteers to do 5 minute talks (shorter is OK,
too) on anything that might be of interest to Python programmers.
Presentations don't need to be polished -- quoting from the
London Meetings announcements:
Remember - anyone can do a lightning. You don’t need to be any
kind of expert; a plea for help or advice makes a perfectly
good lightning. Expertise is welcome too, of course. A pet
project, a new library you’ve come across recently, a learning
experience you’ve had, anything. Please, don’t be backward
coming forward!!
Please volunteer by emailing me, or following up to this message.
If we get enough talks to fill all the time, that would be
wonderful, but if not we shall use them as a spur for discussion.
The last section of the meeting will be used to talk about what
we do for the first meeting next year.

At time of writing, directions to the Anglia Ruskin Cambridge
Campus, and to the library, can be found here__, but it seems
they sometimes move this information (the link from the
University Library pages is wrong, for instance).
