SEARAC has no additional information about this funding opportunity from Temple University's Intergenerational Center. Please contact them directly with questions. Please note that this funding opportunity is for education institutions, but involves work with community organizations.

This new Project SHINE-AmeriCorps project is to mobilize students and other volunteers to serve immigrant populations through community partner sites to improve health literacy skills and promote healthy aging.  This is a wonderful opportunity to address health disparities/health literacy issues among immigrant communities through service and it is supported by generous funding from CNCS and MetLife Foundation.
