Given how long it’s likely to take to paint the main room (and others), is there any mileage in doing it at the weekend?  Would be far easier if we could just get it done in one hit, would be cheaper too if we where to hire a small tower to fix the water damage on the wall as we would only need it for a single day?

I think this time frame will work well, at the end of the Maker meeting on the 1st Nov we can ask people to clear the main room ready for the 6th. Whilst rollers on painting poles will get us fairly high, I think an "industrial" step ladder or scaffolding tower would be needed for the top.
