At yesterday's meeting, I volunteered to co-ordinate painting the main
workshop space. I don't know much about either co-ordination or about
painting, but no-one else had volunteered, and I'd like to help to keep
things moving on. Please feel welcome to take over from me if you have
expertise in either or both, or just if you like taking things over ;-)
The current plan is to do this week after next, i.e. 6th and 8th of
November (Tuesday and Thursday) and possibly Saturday 10th as well. We'll
do the walls first, and then the floor (so that any paint that drips from
the wall will be covered over by the floor paint). If we do the floor on a
Thursday, that gives more drying time before the next use.
If possible, we'll use long-handled rollers to paint the walls, to avoid
having to use scaffolding towers, ladders, etc.
This thread is for people to add suggestions, let us know that they can
come along and help, etc.
__John (who will be offline for most of today, so won't be able to reply
until quite late)
