Reading your statement excites me to have some commentaries about the words Khmer. Opening the Chhuon Nath dictionary in two volumes, I found always when I met the Word Khmer followed always by Yoeung. The Chhuon Nath expression let me thinking that we have two categories of Khmer, the Khmer and the Khmer Yoeung or the Khmer Yoeung and the Khmer Rouge or the the Khmer killer and the Khmer victims.
The Khmer are always looking down the people or nations which have the situation materiel or intellectual better than themselves. The Khmer hate or despise the Vietnamese or Yuon because they are smarter than the Khmer themselves. The Khmer call or qualify the Vietnamese as the loan cloth, the meat dog eat-her, the race had no scripture etc...
Also the Khmer hate or despised the American as they called or qualified them as A Keaing. The word A Keaing had been created the Khmer King named Sihanouk. A Keaing is a stupid guy who do nothing in his life time but the follower an hermit "Ta Eisey" with a pot to serve him. So the Khmer qualified American as the stupid guy in the Human society according the Khmer legends. Aristot said " Know you youself"

Ta Boo Boo; ; The cambodian genocide did not happen in the vacuum, as we can see here in Camdisc. Most Khmer do not consider their enemies, political or otherwise, as a human being. So unity is out of the question if you do not see your opponents, your rivals not as a fellow human being but as pests, a thing to be gotten rid of. And then when compounded with absolute power, and paranoia, the Khmer Rouge leaders did not see the cambodian urban folks or any political critics a fellow human being but a mere pests that infested their pure revolution, thus exterminating was a natural conclusion. During Democratic Kampuchea regime, being called A-youn was a death sentence, no matter if it was falsed or not. Even during the UNTAC time, there were reports of public lynching of ethnic Vietnamese in the political rallies. Most Khmer has youn hating complex, because we believe the vietnamese is the worst race on the planet. Of course, it is racial bias but it is so common belief that no one questions it how racist this kind of belief is. We cannot stop the killing and disunity in Cambodian society until Khmer start to respect other Khmer as a fellow human being. We fight each other like cats and dogs because we believe that our enemies, those who disagree with us as animal. and most of these khmer mixed knew only khmer killed khmer. they
don't want to admit that khmer rouge killed khmers/cambodain. khmer
rouge was formed by sihanuok, and yuon only, but supported by the
chinese in those day. these people claimed themselves as khmer rouge-
but khmer called them "thmil " or khmer rouge. these thmils were the
Vietcong and the sihanuok people. during that time they were supported
be the chinese. so the vietcong see the potential from sihanuok people
"the thmil" and promised to help sihanuok to win the war by made a
quick invasion to cambodia in 1975. then replace the khmer rouge/or
sihanuok people quickly. these was a shock right? the khmer rouge
always claimed that they won the war from the palms of their hands.
the khmer rouge /or sihanuok people or khmer called them " thmil "
never fought during the collapse of phnom penh in 1975, but the
vietcong did. the vietcong tricked the khmer rouge for the first time.
so when the vietcong had no longer get along with the chinese because
the vietcong want khmer land and so the chinese. but the chinese want
full control of the cambodia. this time the vietcong broke the
promised from sihanuok and want to invade cambodia, then the chinese
made war with the north vietcong- in north vvietnam. this time the
khmer rouge started kill the vietnamese who lived in srok khmer. it
started soo bad they even distrust their own people"thmil" because
they had too many leaders in the five regions. this time the king was
no longer trust, and every khmer rouge turned against each others,
and too many people die. no more security within the country, then the
vietcong had a potential again. this time the vietcong walked to phnom
penh for less than 24 hours, not the kill the khmer rouge but to save
them again- that's why most of the CPP are former khmer rouge or khmer
rouge leaders. and lots of khmer knew that. now since the vietcong had
full control of cambodia, they said they came to save khmer- well if
they said "SAVE KHMER" they must have known about the killing field.
for those who claimed that the vietcong save them, they can say
whatever they wanted, beause in the reality it just wasn't true!
The vietcong wanted to control khmerland, that's all!

You are right, your king ta is not the father of Khmer rouge movement since it is initiated by the yuon vietcong since twenty or thirty but your king ta is the father of a bunch of yuon's slaves or yuon killing tools. Without your king ta the yuons cant use communism to bring so big genocide against Khmer people. Your king ta is undefendable criminal, he too have the blood of Khmer people on hands as average criminals they are chen, yuons, or pol pot. Orkun Meeng nas. I take good note of your advice. As you see, I usually leave these people fooling around with their pretending supper intelligent pitting thinker or race but to profane the criminal like sihanouk or pol pot or more ask people to thank criminals like Sihanouk or yuons is for me, too much ask. It is also an atrocious insult for the victims of Sihanouk/yuons crime. If these people chose to prostate the criminals as sihanouk, yuons or polpot as their idols or gods, those are their choice and liberty but to insult other as stupid, dumb or something else because other people have different principle and different view regards to these criminals is for me a crime.
Lately Kiev samphan want Khmer people to thank his Khmer rouge clan for the same reason as Sihanouk and his sympathizers mentioned below. Yuons want Khmer to thank them for creating Khmer rouge and trained these criminals to lead genocide against Khmer but at least come to clean a bunch of them just to be replaced by another group of Khmer rouge to lead another genocide against Khmer. Rat - I am not sure what your agenda is, but you have been greatly biased against Khmer people long enough. The protrait you have painted of Khmer people doesn't reflect most. Khmers have been, generally, treated with contempt, disrespect, and even dehumanized by the French, Yuon, and Chen because of our features and their negative perception of our intelligence. I am not sure what your agenda is, but you have been greatly biased against Khmer people long enough. The protrait you have painted of Khmer people doesn't reflect most.
Khmers have been, generally, treated with contempt, disrespect, and even dehumanized by the French, Yuon, and Chen because of our features and their negative perception of our intelligence. In books, articles, and personal accounts, they described us as barbarians. They colonized us and attempted to eradicate our race, culture, religion, and language. Talk about genocide. It is also about class too. most immigrants like us first arrived in the US were poor of the poorest. In Cambodia, during the Sihanouk time, most Vietnamese immigrants were the poor of the poorest from Vietnam who had nothing to loose trying their luck in the foreign land. When arrived in Cambodia, they often engaged in vices, living in the poorest city sections, some own brothels where Khmer men visited and fuel their wives even more to hate the Vietnamese women. So many Khmer associated the Vietnamese with the experience they see with small group of Vietnamese...

You and all your khmer rouge gang should instead prostate and thank mr rainsy as your god for helping to legitimate your Khmer rouge clan cpp on international plan. Why is Sam Rainsy still crying if he and his party are so good? What Sam Rainsy has done is not an ideal for Cambodia. It doesn't mean that others are doing the right thing. Sam Rainsy and his party create nothing more than chaos for Cambodians. Why can't he participate in rebuilding in Cambodia instead of pulling it back for the sake of his rhetorics? Are the Cambodian people more important than his party or not? Why is he portrait his people as Vietnamese as he has been doing for his premiereship bid? Sam Rainsy ought not to do what he is doing if he is really fighting foreign invaders? Sam Rainsy ought to join hands with other Cambodians to fight and rebuild his nation. Unfortunately, his power is far more important.
