I noticed this evening via a notice taped to the window of the former Dreams bedstore stating that Tesco have applied for an alcohol licence. It was too dark to note the details, perhaps someone else can do that in daylight. Ugh, I really hate it when they split films up on ITV and put the news in the middle. We were just watching Casino Royale which we taped on the PVR hard disc back on 19th September (yes, it's taken us a while to get round to it), only to discover that we actually only had half the bloody film. I have 2 tickets for 'Christmas with the Rat Pack' at Cambridge Corn Exchange on Saturday 5th December at 19:30 but now cannot make it. These are seats XG 11+12 in the middle of the tiered seating so very good seats. I believe that there are now only a few single seats left in the tiered seating for this performance i.e. no seats together.... more »

LHC up and running (again)

Since there's no cam.geeks... Looks like the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) is cycling up to operation again. There's a great portal at [link] to access CERN's (near) real-time experimental results.
