(SNB) Does anyone know where I can buy fresh Sencha Green Tea in
Cambridge. Presumably some place on Mill Rd, or the Market?

I'd try the guy on the market who has a stall opp. Gt St Mary's most days
I've passed by. He closes early about 3pm IIRC but has a pretty
comprehensive range of tea and coffee and IME it's fresh.

Thanks for that. Went and got some and some and also nice Jasmine too.
And a nice little tin container for 1.30. Result!

I would second the chap on the market for freshness and general
service, although I don't know whether he stocks Sencha (but he has a
pretty impressive range, so I wouldn't be surprised if he did)

I'm delighted to hear it. Make the most of it he's told me he comes
from Bury every day (St Edmunds before somebody makes Manchester jokes)
and is going to pack up in a couple of years.

No, no, please no.

Will he at least do the mail-order still?

Didn't ask him that one, but there's a business opportunity coming up in
two years if you like markets ;-)

Yes, and you're probably a few degrees warmer than he is all day, esp.
this time of year. OTOH in the summer it's probably quite a nice job
with a good view ;-)
