I noticed this evening via a notice taped to the window of the former
Dreams bedstore stating that Tesco have applied for an alcohol
licence. It was too dark to note the details, perhaps someone else
can do that in daylight. Judging by the number of dodgy characters
around the East Road / Burleigh Street area, holding on to a can of
brew, I wonder whether this is a cumulative impact area. I'm not sure
whether there is a residents association for this area of East Road,
it is on the edge of BruNK patch, and I am sure they will be taking
notice of this development.

They want to be able to sell alcohol 07:00 to 23:00 IIRC. ISTR it was in
the Cambridge News about a week ago.

I got the notice from the Council today and checked the details. They are
applying for Supply of alcohol (off the premises) and opening hours: 06:00
- 23:00, Monday to Sunday.

The deadline for response to the application is 15th December.
