Is there a decent route from Cambridge to Hemingford Grey? Is the
guided bus route suitable (I'd be going on Sunday morning, so I
wouldn't expect to meet anyone working on it) - though I don't much
want to run 14 miles on concrete!

TIA

The path beside the busway is certainly suitable for running, with a
mostly packed gravel surface (some loose patches). There are sections
which are waterlogged, but you can always get round the flooded
sections without getting your feet wet because the busway itself is on
an embankment.

Excellent, thanks. Are there any sections blocked off with fences, or
is it all easy access?

The path is fine - there are just concrete blocks closing off the
actual busway.
