Dear  Family and Friends,

The  Ferguson Florissant School District needs your help.  The
Ferguson/Florissant School District Community needs you to help get the word out to
reelect Charles (Chuck) Henson, first on the ballot  for a three year term to
the Ferguson/Florissant School Board.


The lone  African-American (Charles (Chuck)  Henson) on the
Ferguson/Florissant School Board,  up for reelection has  served the district and his city,
Ferguson; diligently.  Most who  know Chuck would say that he is a
dedicated, hard  working humanitarian, who seeks to improve his surroundings for the
 betterment of all.  Charles  (Chuck) Henson is a graduate of McCluer High
School in  the district, and Washington University - St. Louis.  Chuck is
married and his children are also graduates of McCluer  High School.

This  brings me to how you can help.  It is important that Charles (Chuck)
 Henson remains on the board as the strong dedicated  voice that represents
diversity, a voice that is well versed on the  issues, a voice that is
confident and that is not intimidated.  Charles  (Chuck) Henson is  up against a
strong political machine,  the NEA.  Now it will  take us - the voices of
reason; the voices that believe that all segments  of the community must be
represented with a strong, intelligent and  dedicated voice at the table,
especially in a district that is greater  than 80% African-American.

You  and your contacts are needed to get to the polls April  2, 2013 to
vote only for Charles  (Chuck) Henson.     The ballot will say, "Vote for two,"
but you (if you live in the  Ferg/Flo School District) or your contacts
must vote only for one, the  first candidate on the ballot, our candidate,
Chuck  Henson.   By doing so, you/they cast the power vote, which votes twice
for Charles  (Chuck) Henson. Can we count on your help?

If  you wish to do more, we are seeking yards for Charles  (Chuck) Henson's
signs in, whish are on the major roads  in the Ferguson/Florissant School
District (Airport Rd, Brown Road, Chambers  Road, Elizabeth/Washington,
Florissant Rd., Frost  Ave, Halls Ferry, Hanley Rd., January Ave., Lindbergh,
Natural  Bridge, Parker  Road, St. Anthony, Waterford, West Florissant, etc.).
 If  you know someone who can help with Chuck Henson's  yard signs; please
get that information back to me right away!

I  am not sure if you live in the district; that piece is not important to
your help. (The district includes parts of Hazelwood, Ferguson, Florissant,
 Dell Wood, Cool Valley, Kinloch, Robertson, Berkeley, Calverton Park,
Normandy,  and two more that I cannot remember.)  I am not sure that you know
someone  personally who is a voting citizen in the district; again, this is
not important  to the real issue. You live somewhere in St. Louis and that is
what is  important, because as such, we are sure that you know someone who
live  in the district - you just need to ask.

I  am a retired public school educator.  During my career I was an active
member of the National Education Association (NEA) and I am now a life-time
member of the NEA-Retired.  I am ashamed  to report that the
Ferguson/Florissant National Education Association (FFNEA)  has decided to support for the
past two elections all white candidates in a  predominately black populated
 school district.  We are now  coming up on the third election and if the
NEA wins, the results will be an  all white school board in
Ferguson/Florissant.

Please  let us know right away if we can count on you for your assistance
to  reelect Charles (Chuck) Henson. My phone number is 314-837-3904. Please

to obtain an absentee ballot.  They very last day that the Board Of
Election Office will mail an absentee ballot is March 27, 2013.  You may also go
to the office to vote absentee.  The BOE is located at #12  Sunnen Drive,
Maplewood, MO 63143. It is best that you get to Sunnen Dr. off Big Bend, as
Hanley Road has construction, which  makes it a little more  difficult to get
the office.
If you are working the polls, it is best that you vote  absentee.
