Men,
The local news
said last night that there are 60 major fires all over Texas burning right now. Gov. Perry said
yesterday that 3.5 million acres have burned so far or roughly the size of the
state of Connecticut.
Austin has had
somewhere just under 80 days of 100 degrees or more since the first of May and
very little rain, we are in a severe drought. The 4 major fires in our area
surround the city of Austin
to the North, East and South. Historically when these type of things happen our
churches fill up and are packed. Please pray that God will move in our
collective services this Sunday and that our churches will be able to reach out
to the many families touched by these devastating trials.
