[CP Robotics] Elections and Xiphos Code

Hey Robotics Club,

As mentioned earlier, the elections for the club are this Tuesday. If
you are interested in helping out it is a great experience and looks
good on the resume. Here is a list of officer positions and a brief
description:

President - Runs Tuesday meetings and keeps other officers on track

Vice President - Takes care of room scheduling and all Xiphos related
activities

Secretary - Records meeting notes and informs people after the meeting
what they need to do, gives out a survey once a year to fulfill IRA
requirements, and organizes one fundraiser

Treasurer - Takes care of all finances and orders pizza

Webmaster - update online calendar and wiki, manage google groups

Special Events - In charge of club events (Botshop, Competitions, Open
House)

Seminar - In charge of organizing the seminars

Public Relations - Advertising for club meetings, events, and
seminars. Represents us at ESC.

Each person running will get a few minutes to tell the club about
themselves. If you want to run but cannot make it Tuesday email me.


Xiphos Code:

The Xiphos C library is up and running. The code can be downloaded
from Google Code. You can Google search cprc-xiphos or go directly to
http://code.google.com/p/cprc-xiphos/. Patrick McCarthy spent many
hours documenting the Xiphos and its software. More info can be found
