Airborne & Special Operations Museum to Host Get-Together for all 173rd
Soldiers, Past and Present
FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. - The Airborne & Special Operations Museum Foundation
will host a special event for all 173rd Airborne Brigade/ABCT soldiers, past
and present, on Sunday, November 8, 2009, from noon to 3 pm. The informal
event will give soldiers the opportunity to share stories and participate in
fellowship.
According to Paul Galloway, Executive Director for the Airborne & Special
Operation Museum Foundation, "The museum's foundation is inviting all 173rd
soldiers, past and present, to gather in the museum's Reflection Garden area
for a time of talk, reflection, stories and fellowship. This is a great
opportunity for soldiers of the 173rd to get together. From Vietnam vets to
the country's latest heroes, we hope everyone has a chance to drop by and be
a part of this.
The get-together coincides with the museum's latest special exhibit, The
173d "Sky Soldiers" The Legend Continues, which is on display through the
month of November.
Refreshments will be available in the museum's Reflection Garden.
