Dion hints at fall election

Globe and Mail Update

July 23, 2008 at 2:49 PM EDT

OTTAWA — Liberal leader Stéphane Dion is hinting a fall election
centred around his party's Green Shift plan is on the political
horizon.

Following the first of a series of election-style speeches across
Eastern Ontario, Mr. Dion said the odds are increasing that he will
pull the plug on the Conservative minority government.

I guess Dion needs a new excuse for a photo op.

Someone should tell him, though, that having all the Liberal MPs not
show up in the HoC for key votes isn't the way to bring down the
government.

LOL - Dion is as delussional as a couple of the Liberal posters on here.

Sounds like the Alberta Liberal leader before the last Provincial election.
They were going to give the Conservatives a run for their money. Riiiiight.

Good to see Dion is carrying on the Lib tradition of being out of touch with
reality.

I really hope Mr. Harper wins a majority and finishes the job Mr. Mulroney
started. We are an inferior country who needs to be administered from
Washington.
I like all other Conservatives yearn to American.

Well not all Conservatives in Canada want to be American.

if you want to be one of those, live in the U.S. and don't let the door at
the border hit you in the ass on the way out.

Agreed. But he should get an education first. Can't get too far in
this world these days with just kindergarten.

too.
