HISTORY AND EXPERIENCE
With a BA in Fine Arts and experience in theatre makeup, Lucie
Brouillard has all the tools and expertise to do marvellous face and
body art. She started in 1989 and has worked in all imaginable areas
of exposure, from New-Orleans' wild Bourbon Street to the most chic
and exclusive venues. Her work has brought her to Holland, France,
Spain, most of the USA and Canada, as well as Japan, where she is
repeatedly invited each year since 2000 for the Street Performers'
World Cup. Here in Western Canada, her services are regularly hired by
the most reputable entertainment companies.

FOR CHILDREN
Children feel very relaxed in Lucie's company. She only needs about 5
to 7 minutes to paint a full face with many sharp, fine details. A
half-face or arm takes about 4 minutes. She was recently timed by a
mom painting a mask.. . Result: 2 minutes 14 seconds! For young
children, only safe water-based makeup is used.
FOR TEENAGERS
Teenagers have best friends, favourite bands, special messages they
want to convey to others.. Think of CUSTOM TEMPORARY TATTOOS for them!
(“Hey! That's like cool, man!”) Lucie uses prime quality imported
temporary tattoo inks for that purpose. They are medically approved
and totally waterproof. They can also be removed at any time with
rubbing alcohol or baby oil. Temp tattoos will stay for up to 10 days,
depending on one's skin type. Each design is uniquely created and
hand-painted. For most events with teenagers, both the temp tattoos
and the water-based makeup products are used.
FOR ADULTS
Adult functions now fill half of Lucie's schedule.
Face and body art is becoming increasingly popular at trendy cocktail
parties! Adults like both the temporary tattoos and the water-based
makeup. For some lady, that little rose or butterfly on her shoulder
is welcomed to remain only for the evening, while for another, it will
be her delight for a week.
For conferences where guests gather from all around the country or the
continent, temporary tattoos are a hit, as they can be brought back
home, almost as a trophy. Very resistant, they do not rub on clothes.
Don't forget that face and body-painting is LOVED at sporting events!
CLIENTS' REACTIONS
Once children are transformed into princesses, dragons or tigers, they
BECOME these creatures of fantasy. It allows their imagination to soar
and they have tremendous fun for a day.
Adults confess to just loving the few minutes of utter relaxation that
a short session of face or body-painting provides them. Ladies feel
beautiful and special, while gentlemen will love the temporary
wickedness of showing off this naughty tribal tattoo on their bicep.
Face and body painting art can be looked at and admired, but it is
also a luxury that everyone can indulge in. For a few hours or a few
days, one can express a hidden side, one can tell the world a message
and feel free. It can also be just about ephemeral beauty and solid
fun.
FULL OR PARTIAL BODY-PAINTING
These great masterpieces, using the graceful bodies of male or female
models, are simply breathtaking. Models can be completely painted live
at a gathering, partially done in private and finished in public, or
delivered whole and perfect and thus provoke a moment of admiring
silence amongst a stunned audience. Full body-painting can be used for
publicity purposes or simply for its pure beauty. Models can convey
spoken messages or carry on their painted bodies the logo of a new
product during a launching event, for example. Painted dancers or
aerial artists can of course perform short choreographies. Lucie's
models are always decently attired during public events, with
G-strings and nipple covers for ladies. More decorative items can be
added for more discreet circumstances, like partial clothing ,
feathers, magnificent jewellery, etc. Beautiful body-painting is never
vulgar, always classy and simply awe-inspiring. It is a wonderful
challenge to create a unique piece of walking art for a special theme.
Anyone, for personal reasons, might wish to be painted fully or
partially. This can be achieved privately with professional
discretion. Lucie works with an excellent photographer if the client
also wishes for a first-quality photo shoot at home or in a studio.
