Sustainability Award 2008 Nomination Application Now Available
Nomination for the Chancellor's Advisory Committee on Sustainability (CACS)- Sustainability Awards are due on April 4th 2008.  Please take the time to recognize individuals or groups that have made a significant sustainability-related impact to the UC Berkeley campus.  See the attached document for more information and the nomination form. Winners will be announced at the CACS Sustainability Summit on April 21, 2008.

2008 Best Practices Nomination - CSU/CCC/UC Sustainability Conference
Don't forget to showcase some of UC Berkeley's interesting sustainability programs at this year's Sustainability Conference in late July/early August! Applications are due this Friday, March 7th, 2008.

Saving Power at Peak Hours - Mary Ann Piette
This talk is part of Lawrence Berkeley National Lab's Community Lecture Series. Marry Ann Piette is the director of Demand Response Center LBNL and will talk about how to reduce power use during peak hours through demand-side changes . Come March 10th at 5pm to the Berkeley Repertory Theater to hear more.

Receiving LEED-EB certification is easier than you might think...
