Sustainability Specialist
The University of California, Berkeley has an opening for a Sustainability Specialist, who will report directly to the Director of Sustainability. This is a full-time regular position, which is focused on achieving the CalCAP emissions reductions goals.
Job Description: The Sustainability Specialist will develop, implement, and monitor campus environmental programs and policies to achieve campus and UC-wide sustainability goals and reduce the campus' impact on the environment. This will include climate action, energy and water efficiency and conservation, transportation, green purchasing, air and water quality, and other related programs and policies; or provide technical support for these programs. TGIF Sustainability Associates (Internships)
The Office of Sustainability is also seeking three TGIF Sustainability Associates to be an active part of its work and operations, thanks in large part to funding received from The Green Initiative Fund. Two positions are for the summer; one will start next fall – more complete job descriptions are attached.
