Can't say about Selçuk (maybe he translate primarily into Turkish
rather than out of it?), but I must say I have had a hard time getting
my Finnish terminology recognized in source segments. In fact, I
haven't been able to get it to work so far :-(

I have created a TMX memory (as I understood glossaries don't support
the pipe character for prefix matching). Its settings look as follows:

I have ticked 'memory for terms' (since I intend to use it for
terminology), I also ticked 'memory for segments' (I thought it
wouldn't hurt).

Matching type is "Fuzzy & Subsegment" (there's no clue what should be
used for custom prefix matching).

Minimal prefix length is 4, which was the default (maybe it has no
impact if pipes are being used to indicate where the prefix ends).

Prefix matching % is unticked (I assumed there's no point in ticking
it, since pipes indicate where the prefix ends).

So if Igor could be kind enough to tell me what is wrong with these
settings, I'd be most happy!

Cheers,

Dominique

You need to tick it to turn it on.

Thanks! And then I can have any percentage selected (= it will be ignored)?

Cheers,

I translate only into Turkish and I did not test the pipe character in
TMX files. I would like to see and use the prefix matching in
glossary not in TMX files (it is difficult to display the additional
fields in TMX files)

The percentage will be ignored only if you have the pipe character
inserted in a term.

Cheerio,
