Sorry if it's a dumb question, but have you entered your new key in Edit > Options > MT services?

However, I've done my first segment and Google has given me something
reasonable, and after adjusting I send the segment to the memory and
go on to the next segment. Google doesn't give me the translation of
the next segment. I just get the translation for segment 1 :-(

It may be just a temporary Internet connection problem or something at
the other of the line. Click with the right mouse button at the Google
Translate window and click Translate to repeat the query.
