I am going to be in Brigham City today, but I don't know when I'll be back.  Hopefully before 2pm, but I'm not sure.  I may even fly in Brigham if the winds are right.  I think Jeff still wants to fly Blacksmith fork again if the winds are good, but I have a feeling they will be a bit light today.  Short Divide might be a good bet, but the Riverside weather station is down and it's hard to know what it's like without it.

The winds are looking way too light right now for a repeat of Blacksmith
Fork Canyon to Logan XC. Unless the winds pick up, we won't get much
more than a sled-ride, I'm afraid. Anybody else interpret the weather
measurements differently?

Unless anybody else is seeing something I'm missing, I don't think 1pm
is going to happen. I want to keep my eye on the winds through out the
day. If Blacksmith Fork, Short Divide, or any other site looks good I
want to fly today. I'm open to suggestions.

I was doing some comparing of weather stations.  There is a station just south of Tremonton that seems to be fairly similar in pattern to the Riverside station.  From my observations, if the winds switch to southerly or even a little westerly and are between 5-12mph I think Short Divide should be good.  I don't know how true that will be, but it looks like it should be right based on comparing the past weeks data on the days that I was out there.  Give me a call if you guys head out there at all.  I don't know that I'll be at a computer later to check my email.

Winds in brigham city are only 3-5 mph from the west.
