Today i met some kids tabling at CabrilloAaptos who were collecting signatures on letters to the governor and president (eh...) about the new anti-immigrant law in Arizona. They are really trying to turn people out for the May Day (International Workers' Day) rally and march in Watsonville at 4 this Saturday. I'm definitely going. There are events in Santa Cruz on Saturday too like the street party which i believe was already posted here. Anyway, some folks are meeting at noon tomorrow at Cabrillo-Watsonville to do out reach for the march.

are you going to that at noon? We were also talking about going to the brown berets thing next Thursday.
Also, May Day, we have a table reserved at the social justice conference at Cabrillo. We should probs try to show up for some of that. Bring some literature, fliers, etc. for the table. Do we have any more copies of 7 day weekend?

we did meet today and discuss the mike davis. we're going to table the conference from 10:30-2 or so on Saturday.
What time are you going to watsonville on Saturday?

so we were going to table tomorrow morning at 9:30, but I'm committed to May 18th and 19th at UCSC on Tuesday and Wednesday and I won't be able to swing tabling manana.
Also I think the 10/7 date for statewide action might be up in the air. We'll see.
