Hi, Katie!
Sorry, I can't help you with Math on April 21st either. Do you know of anyone in Glendale who might have a group of secondary students and teachers who can Skype or WebEx with my school about 12:00 noon on April 25th, Spring VirtCon day? Aaron Barnett and I are leading a DEN in-person event at our school again this year. We'd like people to see that the DEN is just more than our part of the world.

Thanks for the invite, but math isn't my subject area.
I did get an invite from Lani to present for the Glendale Google Summit at the end of July, but I think I'll pass this year. I presented for CUE Rock Star two years ago, and my sessions weren't well attended. If you have a great idea of a need for your district, and think it's within my realm and capacity, let me know.
How are you doing? I hope life is well. I hope you enjoyed your NY trip. I get to go there for the first time this summer, because I got a history fellowship at Columbia for a week, June 28-July 4. Yeah!
Are you applying for DENSI? I hope to get accepted, so I can go directly from NY to DC, where I have also never been!
As for my job, another end to a year temp contract :( Rialto says they are trying to retain their temps, but after all others are placed, who knows what will be left. I've had a hard time in the classroom this year, because these kids are really disrespectful and even honors kids don't lift a finger and deny plagiarism. I pray to get a position as a coach or trainer, working with teachers.

I wasn't suggesting I'd be in S. Cal on April 21st. Sorry, Genny. I'll be with the 8th graders that day. On April 22nd, I have a release day to get ready for April 25th. I hope all goes well on the 21st.
Genny, I have not forgotten about finding you a 3rd grade class. I have some inquiries out. I might find someone via the event on April 25th.
