I have updated the call for submissions page with the issue 4 Call for Proposals deadline, Friday May 16th.

Editors, please make further adjustments to
http://journal.code4lib.org/call-for-submissions
as needed. Here's the paragraph I changed:

The Journal welcomes submissions at any time on a rolling acceptance basis. We publish quarterly in March, June, September, and December. Proposals received by Friday, May 16, 2008 will receive consideration for publication in issue 4, late September, 2008. Upon provisional acceptance, authors will be given an article deadline, typically 6-8 weeks before journal publication. Proposals are typically abstracts sent in the body of an email to c4lj-a...@googlegroups.com

-Jodi

PS-We need to open this list to public posting!

I just realized that the proposal deadline for issue 4 on the journal
site is may 16. How can that be? Isn't our proposal deadline normally
right before we publish the previous issue? We're still a month away
from publishing issue 3.

According to the wiki, the call for the proposals is supposed to be
made public on may 16, with the deadline as june 13, which feels more
right with me. is it ok for me to change that on our call for
submissions page?

Yes indeed -- the CFP should be May 16, with submissions by June 13.
