Reminder, our deadlines and schedules are found here:

The Issue 4 ones are still listed as "tenatative". Ken, as issue 4 coord
editor, can you go and make them to your liking and no longer tentative?

Also, reminder, that sample text you can use for contacting people is
found here (maybe we want ot move it to the wiki for less confusing
organization of our Stuff? Dont' think this needs to be private
probably...)

I updated the wiki, removing "tentative" and making the extended proposal
deadline 6/20. I left the draft deadlines the same. They are now:

Fourth issue
May 16 -- call for proposals
June 12 -- second call for proposals
June 20 -- extended proposal deadline (originally 6/13)
July 18 -- first draft due
August 15 -- second draft due
September 22 -- publication

Ken, with these deadlines, I'd ask that you NOT have more than 7 days in
between proposal received and us making a decision. In other words, what
Emily said.

Even with 7 days, people that get proposals in to us on July 20 are
going to have 3 weeks or less after hearing our acceptance to prepare a
final draft. 3 weeks if we set a deadline of July 27 and get the
notifications to those users on that day. We let that slip at all, we're
talking 2 and a half weeks or less, which sound REALLY not enough to me.

But it's Ken's call.

A week seems plenty to me for the review of articles.

Unless there's objection, I'll change the deadlines in the tracking
spreadsheet for the two articles received today to 6/19, not 6/26.
