Last week was awesome—a dozen people showed up! Hope to see you all again tonight at 7.

What are the topics going to be for the cocoaheads meeting tomorrow? I'm in CS235 and was going to announce it. Also is there a room yet?

No, we don't have a room reserved. I'm just going to camp in one and announce it. The topic will be paintcode, and afterwards it will be happy free time where if someone wants to do show-and-tell they may, and we can talk about what we want to do with the club.

So basically you should encourage people to subscribe to the mailing list and our twitter.

Hi Guys-

I won't be there, but I'd be interested to know if the discussion of paintcode leaves UI to encompass general drawing. All of paintcode's tutorials are very UI-centric.

Thanks,
Ontario Britton

Hi Guys,

Sorry I missed last night's NSCoders, but I will be presenting on PaintCode on Thursday. I thought I'd address Ontario, and give more details to those who might come.

I'll touch on the UI-centric stuff at the beginning, using the tool as the developers intended. I'll then show how you can actually use PaintCode output to teach you how to draw in iOS. An unappreciated feature of this product, IMO. Then I'll be going into how to apply the code in a project. So, I'll show adding them in practical places, like button images, images with animation. This is where their tuts are really lacking, so I will concentrate on how to implement PaintCode output.

Yes, PaintCode documentation is very UI-centric.
