Job Description:
Develop and maintain department websites, including technical and
graphical elements. Ensure that websites are secure and cross-browser
compatible.
Qualifications:
The candidate should already have web-programming skills, an
understanding of relational databases, and be able to provide samples
of work. Samples may include work done for classe taken, or websites
built for fun or personal use.
Specific computer skills:
Skilled and experienced in HTML and CSS. JavaScript experience
preferred. PHP experience preferred, though experience in other
languages is acceptable. PHP will be used extensively in this
position. Experience with Drupal is a plus
Knowledge in database development and maintenance, especially with SQL
on relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MSSQL, or Oracle.
My SQL experience preferred as MySQL will be used extensively in this
position.
