Hi! (Or should I say "Privet!" ;)

Can I register a sane email address with these google groups?

I tried smtp.gmail.com on ports 25 and 456, I tried TLS and of course
my username.
Is there something more still, or might I debug this somehow else?

Anyway, I have some patches I'd like to send for review, but can't :/

Thanks!

You can use your own email address for sending patches, but first
message from any user is put to moderation queue to prevent spam
(we are receiving a lot of spam currently :\)

Cool, welcome! :-)

Heh, I used to work with a lot of Russian and Ukrainian guys but if I
ever really learned anything, I've surely forgotten all by now ;/

Do you know if some of my stuff came through?

Like I said, I tried gmail+smtpauth, but with no success, and also
my own email. Probably more than one email :D

Anyway, I'm not seeing them on the group, so I dunno..

Can I subscribe to a group with something else than gmail, so I could
actually get email home from here?

Spasibo!

Heh, that's not a problem - I'm trying to write in English here. ;-)

Ah, no, nothing appeared.

Yep, just send a mail from your address to
byteflow-hack...@googlegroups.com
This will do the trick. :-)

I have a pending join request, the patches do not yet go through.

The development box is in a different domain and doesn't have the
proper email environment, so if google groups is not fooled by
~/.hgrc's
[email] from = ... trick, I'll have to clone the stuff to another box
and go from there.

Better maybe than configuring smtp auth for myself ;)

Anyway, after I'm subscribed on your end, I'll try again :)

I couldn't find that anywhere ;)

It was byteflow-hack...@googlegroups.com tho :)

Cheers!
