contemplation. Vedanta sAdhana, adhikArI, viShaya, phalam, sambandha, the
sequence etc. contained in the verses are truly appreciable. It is indeed an
invaluable gift to the seeking humanity.

महोदयाः,
सादरम्प्रणम्य। "तदेवाध्यात्ममुच्यते"ति मकुटं निक्षिप्य श्लोकशतं
विरच्यते यदि बहूनां नित्यपठनाय अतीव प्रयोजनकारि भवेदित्याशासे।
किञ्च,
श्लो।आत्मा न देवो, न नरो,न तिर्यक्,स्थावरो न च।
   न देहो,नेन्द्रियं, नैव मनः,प्राणो न,,नापि धीः॥ इत्यादि चिन्तापि
अध्यात्ममिति वक्तुं
शक्यतेति मन्ये।

नमांसि,

अवश्यं पूर्वोक्तसरण्या चिन्तनमध्यात्ममेवेत्यत्र नास्ति संशयः ।  तदर्थबोधकाः श्लोकाः सन्ति अस्मिन्संप्रदाये यथा -

मनोबुद्ध्यहंकारचित्तानि नाहं
न च श्रोत्रजिह्वे न च घ्राणनेत्रे ।
न च व्योमभूमिर्न तेजो न वायुः
चिदानन्दरूपः शिवोऽहं शोवोऽहम् ॥ इत्यादि ’निर्वाणषट्क’मिति नाम्ना ।

नाहं मनुष्यो न च देवयक्षौ
न ब्राह्मणक्षत्रियवैश्यशूद्राः |
न ब्रह्मचारी न गृही वनस्थो
भिक्षुर्न चाहं निजबोधरूपः ||२|| इति हस्तामलकस्तोत्रनाम्ना ।
