source needed

[Veeranarayana Pandurangi]

dear all, please enlighten me

“वसन्ते सर्वसस्यानां जायते पत्रशातनम्‌। मोदमानाश्च तिष्ठन्ति यवाः कणिशशालिनः” what is the source of this sentence?

अथ चेत्त्वमिमं धर्म्यं संग्रामं न करिष्यसि।

ततः स्वधर्मं कीर्तिं च हित्वा पापमवाप्स्यसि।।

तस्मादुत्तिष्ठ कौन्तेय युद्धाय कृतनिश्चयः।

निराशीर्निर्ममो भूत्वा युध्यस्व विगतज्वरः।। (भ.गी.)

 तथा यवमयश्चरुर्भवतीत्यादौ यवशब्दस्य  

 

"वसन्ते सर्वसस्यानां जायते पत्रशातनम् ।

 मोदमानाश्च दृश्यन्ते यवाः कणिशशालिनः । ।" इति वाक्यशेषो दीर्घशूके शक्तिग्राहकः ।

These sentences occur in the श्रीराघवेन्द्रतीर्थकृतन्यायदीपाख्यव्याख्या. 

But there too it seems to be taken as citation only.. Nothing mentioned about the source on cursory reading.

It had already been a part of Shaktigraha topic in Nyaya system, seen quoted by Gangeshopadhyaya in his Shaktigrahavada, 1300 c.AD from which Prof. Pandurangi seems to have quoted. Some sources earlier than this, would be welcome as the possible source for Gangesha could have borrowed for शब्दप्रामाण्यवाद in his तत्त्वचिन्तामणि. It might be found in Nyayabhashya quoted or any other work dealing with शक्तिग्रह.
