Esteemed scholars,
Is there a book/scripture which sheds light on plants. As in plant's significance, utility, its medicinal properties, its classification Etc., as discussed in Vedic scriptures and post Vedic texts.

"Sanatana Vijnana Samudayah" published in 1940's by Sri Venkataramanachar,
then DPI, at Bangalore has a good coverage.
