Hey Rotaract (and friends),
Tonight, at 8 PM, the Beantown Skeeter Beater Repeater team officially
earned the title of Malaria Cup Champions for the 2nd year in a row.
Over the last few months, your emails, your persistence in seeking
donations, your assistance with the bake sale in February, the night
out in March, and countless smaller tasks, have made this all possible.
We are all happy to defend our title (I wonder if the second trophy
will be a little taller . . . ), but I am even more greatly pleased to
know that our work will provide 1680 bed nets to prevent the
transmission of malaria in tropical countries. It has been a pleasure
to work beside you all, chipping away at global health problems from
wherever we are, in whatever way we can; in small steps but with big
dreams and good spirits.
Congratulations, everyone!
Eva
