Well, folks. It's been a while coming, but today, I finally jumped
off the ship and resigned from the family business that would likely
have been mine some day. (Family issues, more than anything else...)
For now, I'll be focused on reviving my 25 year-old home business.
Ultimately, I hope to be serving my local community in some capacity.
Either way, it looks like travel is over for me.
A part of me is very sad, especially when I think of all those little
nooks and crannies I've found in various cities and towns and how I'll
probably never see them again. As stressful as business travel can
be, overall, it's pretty cool when the world is your office.
I suppose it will not make a whole lot of sense for me to continue
moderating this group for the long haul. Perhaps someone else would
like to step forward and take over the task one of these days? Please
contact me if you would. (The good news is that the constant spamming
has virtually disappeared!)
My head is spinning a little right now, so I'll pick this up in a
couple of days. Somehow, we'll figure out a way to keep this little
fraternity alive.
