Just a quick heads up. Two transport items are on the next planning
commission agenda for March 23, 2010. You can view the agenda at:

One of the items is updates from DPW to the PC on upcoming projects
and the southern connector and the other is the Transportation Plan.

It does look good. I did make the comment (via Report a Problem) to
Google the other day that Church Street shouldnt be considered a bike
route (unless you walk your bike) so I hope they address that with
their final version.

Here is some great news from the Bike/Ped Coalition.
Passing the House Transportation Committee is a major step forward for the bill.
Now is the time to contact your Representative to encourage them to support H.540 when it reaches the full House sometime next week.

FYI - Google maps now includes bike route directions. There's a note
that it's in beta and comments are being accepted - so hop to it. Lots
