Hi,

Have a working bump implementation running on virtually any device I try.
However on Nexus 4 running Jelly Bean the bump detection only happens once and if it didn't catch a match it no longer responds to shake/bump events and doesn't try to make any more matches.
Is this a known issue?

Thanks

I'm seeing this problem as well Daniel, although I'm unsure of the cause.

I am seeing this too. Literally no idea what is going on. I think I have exhausted the various debugging avenues. I can't dig any deeper into the bump lib :/

Hey everyone,

Do your respective issues go away if you uninstall the Bump app? We
suspect there might be some conflicts between our app and the API on
4.0+.

I will give this a try when I am at my pc next.

I did notice that when my app was running the bump app was trying and failing to connect to the network over and over, so there does appear to be some contention. This problem didn't appear on the nexus 7 or a galaxy s3 mini, only on the nexus 4.

Will report back with my findings.

I just tried my app with the Bump app uninstalled and the problem does not go away. Note that I can bump more than once on the nexus 4, it just takes about 1-5 minutes before I am able to do a second bump.

Does the lib go into any sort of sleep mode under any circumstances?

Hi Thomas,

I am seeing the exact same problem that John Barker is seeing.
